Capillary Flow Porometer

Capillary flow porometery is a known technique used for pore characterization of porous media. The Poretech Innova series Capillary Flow Porometer (iCFP) is a through pore size analyzer which accurately measures the crucial microporous characteristics of a porous media such as narrow pore size, maximum pore size (bubble point), pore size distribution, mean pore size, gas permeability, and external surface are. Features

The Innova series Capillary Flow Porometer (iCFP) uses a gas to extrude the liquid from the pore to measure the samples through pore size. The equipment follows the ASTM F316-03 standard for testing but is a fully automated system which requires minimal time involvement for the operator. The well designed software and pressure/air flow control of the equipment allows the user to gain highly reproducible results in a short testing time. The sample chamber can hold flat sheet samples up to 60mm with thickness up to 10mm. Also, because of its flexible design, the device is capable of testing samples with various forms such as hollow fibers, rods, cartridges, and even honey combed shaped samples.
