Malcom has developed a set of tools for the monitoring of the reflow process. The RCX Series is a modular system for measuring different functions of the reflow oven. It uses the RCM-S Profiler as the base, or brains, of the system. The strength of the RCX system is the flexibility of being able to add on additional sensors to measure things, such as oxygen density, air velocity, rail/conveyor vibration, and even the option to view what is happening onboard the PCB via a camera system. The system is comprised of a number of helpful tools for troubleshooting and verifying the functionality of the reflow oven and PCB reflow process.

The system can be configured to include just the modules needed. Here is an overview of the different modules:
