Computrol Invests in Four McDry Cabinets from Seika Machinery during IPC APEX 2011: Article

Computrol, Inc., aworld-class provider of mid- to low-volume, high-mix electronic manufacturing services to OEMs, purchased a total of four McDry cabinets from Seika Machinery, Inc. during the recent IPC APEX Expo in Las Vegas. The company purchased two of the model DXU-1001 cabinets and two of the model MCU-201 Dry Storage Cabinets.

Computrol plans to install one of each of the DXU-1001 and MCU-201 Dry Storage Cabinets in each of its facilities in Meridian, Idaho and Orem, Utah. The purchase of the four McDry cabinets is a key step in Computrol’s continuous effort to improve every element of the business. The company is certified in ISO 9001-2008 and ISO 13485, IPC class II and III and J-Std certified as well as being ITAR registered and lead-free RoHS compliant.

McDry Electronic Drying Storage Cabinets provide low-humidity storage without the use of nitrogen. Humidity is removed from the cabinets by use of a zeolite desiccant. The desiccant is automatically recycled by the unit and does not require replacement.

McDry units come in one and three percent RH models to comply with the strict standards required for the proper storage of moisture-sensitive materials requiring ultra-low humidity levels.
