TORRANCE, CA — October 2013 — Seika Machinery, Inc., a leading provider of advanced machinery, materials and engineering services, announces that Michelle Ogihara, Senior Sales Manager at Seika and SMTA Director, VP of Communications, will host the Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) Women’s Leadership Connection Reception, before the start of the SMTA International Conference and Expo. The reception is scheduled to take place Monday, October 14, 2013 at 5 p.m. in Room 101 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Texas.
This marks the fourth annual SMTA Women’s Leadership Connection Reception. The wine and cheese reception provides women in the industry with an opportunity to get to know one another in a relaxed environment.The guest speaker will be Dr. Jennie S. Hwang, an international authority on the applications and properties of solder in surface mount electronics, president of H-Technologies Group Inc., and the first and only female SMTA President.
